HEY! I'M SIETSE DE KRIEGER
a Dutch modern metal guitarist, producer, and live production nerd. Born in 2002 and raised on riffs since the age of seven, heavy music has been at the core of my life for as long as I can remember.
What started with my dad handing me an electric guitar quickly grew into a lifelong obsession. By 2019, that obsession expanded into music production. I dove deep into mixing, mastering, sound design, and modern studio workflows, with a clear focus on heavy, aggressive, and forward-thinking genres.
In 2023, I released my debut solo EP, ZENITH which is a fully self-produced record that I wrote, produced, recorded, and mixed myself alongside several guest vocalists. The EP blends modern metal intensity with cinematic and electronic textures, reflecting my love for both raw aggression and immersive atmosphere.
Alongside my studio work, I’m an active guitarist in Sugar Spine, an Australian–Dutch metalcore/hardcore band.
Beyond playing guitar, I’m responsible for the entire (live) production and show design side of the band. This includes:

Creating backing track systems with click and cue routing

Designing and building custom in-ear monitor racks

Programming guitar and bass tones for live use

Designing and syncing DMX lighting to the set

Building a custom light controller and programming every Sugar Spine light show

My goal is always to make live shows feel as tight, intentional, and impactful as the records.
